(ISM Education Loans, Inc.) is an Indiana nonprofit corporation, which operates exclusively for the purpose of financing certain loans authorized under the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (the Higher Education Act). ISM Education Loans, Inc. finances student, parent, and consolidation loans that are guaranteed and reinsured under the Higher Education Act. The loans originated or acquired by ISM Education Loans, Inc. are financed primarily through the issuance of bonds, bank loans, or other securities secured primarily by the revenues received from such loans.
