You are getting ready for college - and we are ready to help you. It is an exciting time and we are going to give you some tools that will assist you in planning and getting everything done on schedule.
There will be a lot to think about and many decisions to make. Your senior year will come and go before you know it - and you will have plenty of things in addition to your normal schedule and class work. But you are not alone in this. And together, we CAN get it all done!
Let us take a look at some of the planning you will want to do.
College Nights
These are great opportunities to find out some basics about what colleges expect from entering freshmen, and what they offer in return. You will find out if you are taking the right classes. You will learn what you will have to score on the SAT or ACT. You will start to learn about different colleges - and even different areas of study, or majors.
To get started, it may be helpful to better understand what your interests are - and what type of work you may be interested in.
We do not have all the answers, but we can certainly help you find information that will help you focus. Links on this page will take you to sites that help you evaluate schools, school costs, careers and lots more. Be sure to check out the financial aid information to see all of the different ways in which to pay for school.
In many cases, you might find that you need a student loan and that either you or your parents will need to borrow. That is another area where we can help. As Indiana's not-for-profit provider of student loan services, we have the best deal available and we will be happy to work on that portion of your program - after we have fully explored scholarships and grants.
